ICATS Company Memberships
Companies wishing to have a workforce certificated under ICATS must first register with Correx. Upon acceptance, registered companies are expected to initiate training of their workforce within 12 months.
Workplace training is carried out by ICATS certificated trainers who are qualified to train and assess operatives employed by the registered company. This is achieved by attending a two day ICATS Company Trainer course held at various locations in the UK.

How do I train my workforce?
Companies may train operatives by one of two methods
1. Internal Training
ICATS member companies can nominate trainers from within their own workforce to deliver the training internally. The nominated trainer must have a minimum of 5 years experience in the industrial or marine coating industry and have supervisory experience.
2. Training by an approved ICATS Training Provider
Why register your company with ICATS?
“We’ve been an ICATS approved training centre since 2009 and have always found working with ICATS / Correx Ltd to be a very positive experience. The training, support and professionalism provided over the years has consistently been to a high standard, and the team have always been knowledgeable, approachable and easy to work with.
It’s great to be a part of bringing new, high-quality people into the industry through the ICATS scheme and helping to maintain standards across the sector.
We’d be more than happy to recommend ICATS to anyone that’s looking to get in the industry.”
