We are pleased to invite all ICATS TrainersĀ  to attend one of the ICATS Trainer Seminars to be held in Bristol, Manchester, Edinburgh and Northampton. Please see dates on the attendance form enclosed with this letter, applications should be made before 19th October.

Please note all ICATS Trainers must attend one of these seminars, it is a requirement for all Trainers to attend at least one seminar during the 3 year period of their registration to ensure renewal, this event provides important updates to the operation of ICATS training that it is vital for all Trainers. Trainers that have not carried out training in the last three years should attend one of the seminars but will also need to attend a Registered Company Trainer Course if they wish to retain registration as an ICATS Trainer.

The seminars will provide information on use of the new online course material and assessments, company auditing plus news on other courses which we will be introducing and will allow the opportunity for discussion.

The seminars will commence at 9.30am and will finish at around 2pm. Lunch will be provided and the event is free to all ICATS trainers and management of ICATS registered companies.

The new ICATS training programme addresses every aspects of protective coating application including all health and safety, surface preparation and paint application giving a well-rounded training programme for all applicators. Further details areĀ available here.

The agenda will include an overview of the ICATS development plans and a detailed look at the new programme with specific examples of modules that you may not currently be familiar with.

We will also be able to provide details of the ICATS Industrial Coatings Applicator Apprenticeship Programme which is starting off with a pilot programme in January 2019.
