Launch of New Online ICATS Training Course We are pleased to invite ICATS Trainers to attend one of the ICATS Trainer Seminars to be held in Bristol, Manchester, Edinburgh and Northampton. Please see dates on the attendance form enclosed with this letter, applications should be made before 19th October.
ICATS Req Doc
The Institute of Corrosion document which defines the requirements for the operation of the ICATS scheme is called the Req Doc and the latest version (the 15th Edition since the scheme was introduced in 2005)
Correx has achieved certification ISO 9001:2015
I am pleased to announce that Correx has achieved certification to ISO 9001: 2015 for our Quality Management Systems. LRQA was engaged to carry out this certification and audited the company in May 2017.

Expired Applicators Cards
Reminder for applicators with expired ICATS accrediation cards
CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
The ICATS card now includes the CSCS hologram.
9 Year Review and Update Assessments
We are starting the 9 year review and update assessments which all applicators that have been registered for 9 years will be required to undertake.
Dream job at Sellafield results from Cumbria’s first ICATS training course
The first ICATS training course to be held in Cumbria has resulted in a ‘dream job’ at Sellafield for a ‘Painting and Decorating’ student from Lakes College.
